The word Gospel from the Old English means "the good news" or "good message". It is a noun and a verb. It is an English word. "Gospel is the equivalent of euangelion - Spanish, évangile – French, Evangelium – German, Vangelo - Italy The word euangelion means "evangel". In the NT it denotes the "good tidings" of the kingdom of God and of salvation through Christ, to be received by faith, on the basis of His expiatory death, His burial, resurrection, and ascension, e.g. Acts 15:7; 20:24; 1 Peter 4:17. Apart from those references and those in the gospels of Matthew and Mark, and Rev 14:6, the noun is confined to Paul's epistles. The apostle uses it of two associated yet distinct things, (a) Of the basic facts of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ, e. g., 1Cor 15:1-3; (b) Of the interpretation of these facts, e. g., Rom 2:16; Gal 1:7, 11; 2:2; in (a) The "gospel" is viewed historically, and in (b) doctrinally, with reference to the interpretation of the facts, as is sometimes indicated by the context. Theologians viewed the word Gospel as Gospel of: The kingdom, God, Jesus Christ, the dispensation of the, grace of god, the grace of god, salvation, peace, the kingdom of God, glorious gospel of Christ, preaching of Jesus Christ, mystery of Christ, mystery of the good tiding, word of god, word of Christ, word of salvation, word of reconciliation, word of truth, word of faith, word of life, ministration of the spirit, doctrine according to godliness, form of sound words. And it is being compared to a mustard seed, good seed, leaven (yeast, a pearl of great price, a treasure hidden in a field, a householder, a feast, etc.

Dr./Mrs. Effiong Abraham isangadighi of oro nation...The Oron  born Gospel Isangadighi hails from Udung Ukpong village (Okiusoh Clan) in Okobo Local Government, Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria. Gospel Isangadihi is also known by the following names: I,G. Effiong – D’ Great, Papa- One, Isangadighi, Oyo-Ima. Nursed and Nurtured in 1996 at Evangel Nursery School, Ukpana - Onna Local Government,  Isangadighi was a pupil of Saint John Primary School, Nsie - Okobo Local Government in 1997, New Appostolic Nusery School, Nsie in 1999.. In 2003, Oyo-Ima was drilled at Union  Secondary School, Nsie (USSN) and he graduated in 2009. Currently, he is a student of the university of uyo, AKS, Nigeria .
